Witton Lodge Community Association has today launched its Small Grants Fund to help support local projects in Perry Common.
Applications are now being sought (up to a maximum of £500) for projects that will benefit the people of Perry Common.
The fund is made possible thanks to the donations received by the Association for the work we do such as giving talks and hosting visits and is not taken from the rent or leasehold payments.

30 January 2009 - West Midlands Guide Neighbourhoods Programme Launched.
Thanks to funding from Regional Action West Midlands (RAWM), as part of the Every Voice Counts programme, Witton Lodge Community Association will be hosting three Guide Neighbourhood Visits in January, February and March of 2009.
The aim of the programme is to allow visitors to see first hand the transformation of a one time deprived community and hear from residents who have lived through, and contributed to, the revival of their community. It also offers visitors the chance to talk to staff and residents who are working to make sure the transformation of Perry Common continues in the future.
The first of the visits funded by RAWM took place on Thursday 29 January and visitors were given a presentation outlining the history of Perry Common before taking a tour around the estate to see for themselves the transformation that has taken place. Over a spot of lunch, we then discussed some of the successes we have had in Perry Common as well as some of the projects that perhaps didn't work out so well and the lessons we have learnt from them.
Spaces are available, free of charge, for the next two visits which are scheduled for the 19th February and the 19th March 2009.
If you would like to book a place on either of these dates, please contact Ian on 0121 748 8114.
